How?
Virtually Sorted ONLY work with UK based VAs, and all VAs will need to adhere to very strict criteria and pass a series of tests before they are able to work with us.
- We are happy to help new/aspiring virtual assistants through our affiliation with societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk
- All jobs opportunities are offered to SVA members only, so please join there and then you will receive a notification if there is a job opportunity.
- Please do not call the office or contact Virtually Sorted for queries on becoming a VA, job opportunities or membership queries, go through societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk
- Due to problems with plagiarism in the past, we are not prepared to allow any virtual assistant on our client marketing newsletter lists. Please do not steal our time by signing up to these.
Tests
Virtually Sorted will advertise job opportunities via societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk membership.
Please note: We are not recruiting at the moment, and any opportunities are advertised via SVA first.
- TYPING TEST – All Virtually Sorted VAs should have typing speeds of 75WPM+ and be able to transcribe and check a document in around 3 x amount of audio (so a 10 minute tape should take you no longer than 30 minutes). You will be required to open .dss, DS2, wav and MP3 files so we recommend you have the Pro version of ExpressScribe.
- SOCIAL MEDIA TEST – You will be dealing with various different social media platforms and management programmes as well as email newsletters using Aweber.
- MISC PA TEST – Our miscellaneous PA duties can cover everything from online shopping to designing an email marketing campaign. You will be asked to complete a grammar and spelling test.
A can-do, flexible and entrepreneurial attitude is essential.
