I went to a blogging seminar the other week - and was quite surprised by the numbers of unique visitors quoted for a "successful" blog. I don't blog but I do manage a few for a couple of different clients. Basically doing posts or inserting the odd bit of HTML/marketing where necessary - not anything v fancy.
The pros were saying that their sites got circa 10,000 unique visitors/month - which is rubbish! Am I totally squiffed about this because of working on my clients blogs?
What sort of visitor numbers do you get? (And feel free to post a link and get more incoming traffic!) _________________ To support SVA please donate to: http://tinyurl.com/37urec

LOL @ Dawn!!!
Weirdly blogging seems to be an intrinsic part of the US market for VAs, however based on the lack of response I'm just not seeing the same enthusiasm in the UK market for it...
I'm guesting on this blog http://www.businessbloguk.com
Basically advising on outsourcing issues and admin quandries...
But I also work on a few client blogs too. _________________ To support SVA please donate to: http://tinyurl.com/37urec

Actually blogging is becoming more popular especially if you tweet a lot. It encourages people to look at your site more and I do know at least one or two VA's who are now regularly getting work because they combine tweeting with blogging.
However they do set aside time to do this, so planning is required to achieve satisfactory results. _________________ Rachel Brett
